New Delhi: The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has constituted a seven-member committee to probe the allegations of sexual harassment against WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. It will include Mary Kom, Dola Banerjee, Alaknanda Ashok, Yogeshwar Dutt, Sahdev Yadav and two advocates as members.

The meeting was called on Friday
According to information, the IOA had called a big meeting on Friday regarding the players’ issue. After this it was decided to form the committee. Earlier, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh refused to hold a press conference amidst the ongoing demonstration of wrestlers at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. His son Prateek Bhushan Singh said – he will not issue a statement today. Now he will issue an official statement after January 22. Singh will hold a press conference after January 22 with a written statement. The media will be informed after the AGM on the same day.
Wrestler met Sports Minister
On the other hand, on Friday, after a long wait, the wrestler reached in the evening to meet Sports Minister Anurag Thakur. Shortly before the arrival of the wrestler, the officials of the Sports Ministry also reached Anurag Thakur’s house. At present the talks are on.
