Wrestlers Protest: Olympian wrestler and BJP leader Babita Phogat has expressed her strong reaction to wrestler Sakshi Malik’s video. He said that he is a ‘puppet of the Congress’.
In a video posted on Saturday, Sakshi Malik and her husband wrestler Satyavrat Kadian thanked Babita Phogat for supporting the wrestlers’ protest and acting as a mediator between the protesting wrestlers and the central government. On this, Babita Phogat denied the claims made by Sakshi Malik and her husband in a tweet.
Babita Phogat has written in her tweet that yesterday when I was watching the video of my younger sister (Sakshi Malik) and her husband, I felt very sad and also laughed. First of all, I want to make it clear that I have nothing to say about the permission letter that he showed, nor have I signed that letter.
Babita said, solution will come out from PM and Home Minister only
He said that I have been saying from the first day that have faith in the Prime Minister and the judicial system of the country. The truth will definitely come out. As a woman player, I have always been and will be with all the players in the country, but I was against the protest from the beginning. I had told all the wrestlers to meet the Prime Minister or the Union Home Minister, because the solution would emerge from there.
He also alleged that Congress leaders are using the sentiments of the protesting wrestlers for political gains. Babita also attacked Sakshi and called her a “puppet of Congress”. He said that you have found the solution to your problem in those people who themselves are involved in serious crimes. He said that the opposition has played with the sentiments of soldiers, farmers and women wrestlers for their political gains.

Minutes after this, Sakshi Malik also hit back at BJP leader Babita Phogat by tweeting on her Twitter handle. He said that Babita is using the opposition of wrestlers for her selfishness. In the video we taunted Tirath Rana and Babita Phogat that how they are trying to use wrestlers for their selfishness and how when wrestlers are in trouble they go and sit on the lap of the government. We are definitely in trouble, but our sense of humor should not become so weak that we cannot even laugh at the jokes of the mighty.
