Coming out to bat first, the MI team dismissed the Capitals team for just 105 runs in 18 overs. Mumbai Indians bowler Sayka Ishaq bowled brilliantly, taking 3 wickets for 13 runs in 3 overs. At the same time, Issy Wong took 3 wickets for 10 runs in 4 overs. Hayley Mathews also bowled brilliantly, taking 3 wickets for 19 runs in 4 overs. Nat Brunt scored an unbeaten 23 in 19 balls and captain Harmanpreet Kaur scored an unbeaten 11 to give the team a resounding 8-wicket win.

Mumbai Indians reached the top
After this win, Mumbai Indians have reached the top of the points table with 6 points. MI has won all the 3 matches played so far. At the second place is Delhi Capitals, who have 4 points after winning 2 matches. In the third place is the team of UP Warriors. Who has 2 points after winning one and losing one out of two matches. Gujarat Giants are fifth after losing 2 out of 3 matches. At the same time, the opening season for RCB has been disappointing so far.
