New Delhi: Amazing drama was witnessed in the match played between UP Warriors and Mumbai Indians under the Women’s Premier League (WPL) on Sunday. Where on the one hand MI batsman Hayley Mathews escaped LBW after taking DRS from both the teams, on the other hand skipper Harmanpreet Kaur also escaped being bowled. UP Warriors captain Alyssa Healy made her statement after the drama-filled match.
there’s no reward for being a good person
Alyssa Healy said after losing by 8 wickets – I think we were probably 15-20 runs short. We needed a set batsman at the end, but it was not going to be easy. We didn’t hit as many boundaries as Mumbai Indians did. We bowled too much junk and hit too many boundaries. Healy further said- We just have to see how we can do well with the available players. We have got some bowlers on the bench and Harris too, but there is no award for being a good man.
For her match-winning knock of 5⃣3⃣* against #UPW, @mipaltan captain @ImHarmanpreet bags the Player of the Match award. 👏 👏

we have to field well
Healy further put his stand on LBW and said – When an LBW which is not out is given out and Harmanpreet gets bowled but the wickets do not fall, then we have to field well. We really want to be a good fielding side. Simran Sheikh raised her hands and apologized. After that good things happened on the field. In fact, Simran had dropped the catch of Hayley Mathews in the third over, but after that she stunned with brilliant fielding.
