WhatsApp Update: WhatsApp introduced group chat in 2011. Since then the developers have changed a lot regarding group chat. Many new facilities were given to us. Now, a recent report by WABetaInfo suggests that the instant messaging platform is rolling out a new approval feature for group chat admins.
The new feature is available on the latest version of the beta for people using WhatsApp on iOS and Android. With the help of this new feature, chat groups can be managed very easily. With this, the people connected to the group will be managed and it will be easy to manage their inappropriate actions.
admin became the only king
When this feature is enabled, users will see a message in group chats informing them that new participants must seek approval from the group admin before becoming part of a particular group. Group admin approval will be required even in case the new participant has a group invite link.
With this feature, people creating groups will get the option of who they want to include in the group. To enable the new feature, go to group settings and you will find an option called ‘Approve New Participants’. Enable it and then you will be able to make good use of it.
