Panchayat Polls: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has launched a scathing attack on the Border Security Force (BSF) on Tuesday for the second consecutive day. He has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not be there forever, so instead of working in favor of anyone, BSF should work impartially. On Monday too, during a public meeting in Coochbehar, he accused the central paramilitary force of threatening people.
Addressing an election rally in Jalpaiguri on Tuesday, he attacked the BSF. Mamta said that Modi is here today, will be gone tomorrow. You people have to work to protect the country, so don’t torture people. It is good to work together with people.
The relatives of the dead will get jobs
Mamta said that those who were killed in BSF firing, the state government will provide jobs in the Special Home Guard and financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh each. Although due to this, he should not be accused of violating the election model code of conduct, for this he made it clear that the state government had already taken this decision.
