West Bengal News: Since the violence that started on the day of Ram Navami in West Bengal, such cases are not taking the name of stopping. After the violence in Howrah and North Dinajpur, a case of violence has come to the fore in Hooghly today. Where two groups clashed during a procession. After this, there has been a lot of stone pelting in the area. Also there has been arson.

According to the information, the procession was organized by the BJP, police sources say that the situation is currently under control, tension remains in the area.

State government is not taking any action – Dilip Ghosh

BJP’s national vice-president Dilip Ghosh told that women and children were pelted with stones during the Shobha Yatra. The state government is not taking any action even after the Howrah violence. Stones are being pelted and vehicles are being vandalised.

He said that processions were taken out at many places today, the processions were taking place in a peaceful manner. Suddenly stones were pelted from some locality. The glasses of the car were broken, people got hurt, the policemen were also hurt. There was a sound of bomb, I told our people to maintain peace, police is watching everything.

Violence erupted on Ram Navami as well

Earlier, there was fierce violence in Howrah and Uttar Dinajpur on Ram Navami on Thursday. In both the places, there were incidents of fighting and stone pelting between the two groups during the Ram Navami procession. Also, the miscreants had set several vehicles on fire. In view of the tension, heavy police force was deployed in the violence-hit areas.
