Weather Update: There is a hot climate all over the country. However, many states may experience rain on some days. A cyclonic circulation was reported to be present over Southwest Rajasthan & neighborhood in the lower troposphere. Their combined effect may result in light to moderate widespread to widespread rainfall with thunder and lightning over the western Himalayan region during the next three days.

As a result, isolated heavy rains may occur over Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on April 19.

From April 21, light rain with thunder and lightning is expected over Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha. In addition, heat wave conditions are very likely at isolated places over East Uttar Pradesh on 19th April. During the next 24 hours, severe heat wave conditions are likely over Gangetic West Bengal and parts of Bihar. Lastly, isolated heat wave conditions are likely to affect Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Jharkhand and Coastal Andhra Pradesh during next 24 hours.
