Weather Update: Today is the last day of March 2023. While the heat broke all its old records in the month of February, the weather changed in the month of March and people got relief from the heat. The weather patterns are still disturbed in many areas. Even today, there are chances of rain with snowfall in many areas of Ladakh, Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. At the same time, there is a possibility of hailstorm with strong wind in many areas.
In fact, due to the Western Disturbance, the weather has deteriorated in many areas of the country and there is hailstorm along with rain. At the same time, a trough line is passing from Sub-Himalayan West Bengal to North Odisha via Gangetic West Bengal. Even from this, the mood of the weather seems to be deteriorating.

According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), there is still a possibility of rain for the next two days. In many areas including Delhi-NCR, the weather has deteriorated for the last two days. It rained at many places on Thursday evening. A drop in temperature has also been recorded due to rain.
There is a possibility of rain with heavy snowfall at many places in the hilly areas. While there are chances of rain in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh as well as Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat and Rajasthan. During this, a warning of hailstorm with heavy rain has been issued at many places.
Along with this, there is a possibility of rain with thunder in many areas including Gangetic-West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand. On the other hand, rains are also expected in parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal. Not only this, scattered rain and thundershowers are also forecast over Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep.
According to private weather forecasting agency Skymet Weather, there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in many parts of Western Himalayas, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan. Also, there is a possibility of rain and thunder with a chance of hailstorm in Assam, Meghalaya, North Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal. Scattered rain is possible over South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Moderate to heavy rain may occur over Northeast India on 1st and 2nd April.
