Weather Update: Right now the month of March is going on, but the heat of May is troubling people. The Meteorological Department has started worrying about the heat in view of the temperature. Actually, this time India has rung the bell even before the summer season due to the danger of heat wave. Looking at this weather pattern, it is being speculated that this year there may be severe heat wave. This has increased the concerns of meteorologists as well as common people.

According to information, Prime Minister Modi had held a high-level meeting recently to review the preparations related to the weather. It is feared that this year people may have to face more heatwave.

Normally summer starts in the country after Holi, but this time the temperature started breaking records even before Holi. According to the data of the Meteorological Department, this time the temperature has risen rapidly. The day’s mercury is being recorded up to seven degrees higher than normal. However, the night temperature is definitely normal in some places. In many states, with the increase in the heat, the torture of heatwave has also started. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), today heat wave can be experienced in Konkan, Goa and Coastal Karnataka.

Alam is that in many places the temperature is desperate to touch 40 degrees. Maximum heat is being recorded in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to remain like this for the time being. Although some places may see a slight decrease in the maximum temperature from March 12.

In fact, a fresh Western Disturbance will be active in the Himalayan region from the night of March 12 and is expected to continue till March 14. Light to moderate rain and thundershowers are likely over Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Gujarat today. There are also chances of hailstorm at many places.

Strong sunlight is also coming out in Delhi NCR. Looking at these conditions, it seems that people may have to face severe summer heat in the coming times. The minimum temperature in Delhi today is expected to be around 16 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature is expected to be around 32 degree. According to the IMD forecast, the maximum temperature in Delhi-NCR may reach 34 degrees this weekend.

Let us tell you that in February this year, the average maximum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 27.7 degree Celsius, which was the highest temperature in this month for the third time in the last 63 years. Delhi had its third hottest February day since 1969 on February 20. Further, Delhi and other parts of North-Western Plains would see an increase in maximum temperature by 2-3°C during next 4 days followed by a decrease by 2-3°C.

According to private weather forecast agency Skymet Weather, the ongoing rain and thundershowers in northwest India and central India will now stop. There is a possibility of light rain in parts of Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Bihar and West Bengal today. Along with this, light rain may occur over East Assam, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh.
