Vidisha News: Lokesh of Vidisha won the battle of life, pulled out of 60 feet deep borewell after 24 hours

Vidisha News: A 7-year-old boy who fell into a borewell in Vidisha was pulled out safely. The innocent had fallen into the borewell at 11 am on Tuesday. A pit was dug near the borewell overnight. Apart from the pit, the child was taken out by making a tunnel of 5 feet. As soon as the child was taken out, he was taken to the hospital in Latteri in an ambulance.

Please inform that Lokesh had fallen into the borewell built in the farm at 11 am on Monday. The police and NDRF teams were involved in the rescue from 11.30 am on Tuesday. The incident took place at Lateri, about 100 km from the district headquarters, at around 11 am. The innocent was trapped at a height of 43 feet in a 60 feet deep borewell. 50 feet parallel to the bore was excavated till 8.30 am on Wednesday morning.

CM expressed grief over the incident by tweeting

Collector Umashankar Bhargava and Lateri SDM Harshal Chowdhary are present at the spot. According to the officials, the innocent is trapped at 45 feet. 12 to 13 feet more digging has to be done. After this, the child will be taken out by making a tunnel of 5 feet.

Regarding the matter, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweeted that the incident of a 7-year-old innocent falling into a borewell in Kherkhadi village of Lateri tehsil of Vidisha district is sad. I have instructed the local administration to take necessary steps, and am in constant touch with them. The rescue team is trying to save the child safely. I pray for the well being of the innocent.
