By Election Result 2023: The results of the assembly by-elections 2023 held on one assembly seat each in Tamil Nadu, Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Jharkhand and two in Maharashtra are being declared.

Live Update:

  • BJP’s Ashwini Jagtap leading over NCP’s Nana Kate (representing MVA) by 449 votes in the initial round of postal ballot counting.
  • Congress candidate is leading in Tamil Nadu’s Erode seat. Congress candidate is leading in Tamil Nadu’s Erode seat.
  • All Jharkhand Students Union (AJST) party is leading in Ramgarh (Jharkhand) bypoll.
  • Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that everyone was expecting this and the people of our party were confident of winning the Erode seat. We are going to win that seat with a huge margin. People are supporters of DMK-Congress alliance.
  • Congress is leading in Sagardighi, ahead of INC candidate Byron Biswas (5,459 votes, 42.01%), TMC’s Debashish Banerjee (4,944, 38.04%) and BJP’s Dilip Saha (2,142, 16.48%).

Let us tell you that except Maharashtra, the by-elections were held on February 27 on the seats of all the other states. While elections were held on two seats in Maharashtra on 26 February.

Results of these seats will come

Chinchwad and Kasba Peth in Maharashtra, Lumla in Arunachal Pradesh, Ramgarh in Jharkhand, Erode East in Tamil Nadu and Sagardighi in West Bengal.
