US Magistrate Judge Jacqueline Chooljian of the US District Court of California said the court has reviewed all documents presented in support and opposition to the request and has considered the arguments presented at the hearing.

The US magistrate ruled that there was reasonable cause and sufficient competent evidence that Rana was an accused person in India. The Court has concluded that Rana is extraditable for offenses for which the extradition request is accepted by India.

Tahawwur Rana was arrested in the US on an extradition request from India for his role in the 2008 Mumbai attacks.
