The US Army has to spend three lakh crore rupees in destroying the weapons. India has also destroyed its chemical weapons.
In fact, a global effort was launched in 1997 to rid the world of chemical weapons. Russia destroyed all its chemical weapons in 2017.

Fernando Arias, head of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), said the destruction of all declared chemical weapons stockpiles was an important milestone.
The OPCW, a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, warned that the recent use of chemical weapons means the world still needs to be vigilant.
