- Before the hearing in the Umesh Pal kidnapping case, his mother Shanti Devi said that we do not have the strength to fight the case in the coming days. He (Ateeq Ahmed) should be given death sentence. If he is sentenced to life imprisonment, he can do whatever he wants from the jail. He got my son killed in jail. If he stays there, he will not let us live.

Before the hearing in the Umesh Pal kidnapping case, his wife Jaya Pal said that I hope the court sentences him (Atiq Ahmed) to death. If he remains alive, we might not be able to survive. We will be his next victim. If he is given the death sentence, then his terror will end from here.

There will be an account of the crimes of Atiq and Ashraf
According to the information, more than 100 cases are registered against Atiq Ahmed and about 50 cases against his brother Ashraf. One of these is the Umesh Pal kidnapping case. In the Umesh Pal kidnapping case, Atiq Ahmed will be produced in Prayagraj’s MP-MLA court. Atiq is an accused in this kidnapping case that took place 17 years ago. It has been told that the court has completed the hearing in this matter.
Police filed charge sheet against 11 accused
Now the hour of judgment has come. The MP-MLA court had ordered Atiq to be produced on March 28 at 11 am. After this, the UP police took Atik from Ahmedabad’s Sabarmati Central Jail to Prayagraj. It has been told that 11 accused were made accused in the charge sheet filed by the police in this case.
Umesh Pal kidnapping case was related to Raju Pal murder case
On 25 January 2005, BSP MLA Raju Pal was shot dead in Prayagraj. Pooja Pal, wife of Raju Pal, had filed a case in this case naming 5 accused including Atiq Ahmed, his brother Ashraf. While four accused were unknown. Raju Pal’s relative Umesh Pal was the main witness in this case.
It is said that Atiq and his brother Ashraf had kidnapped Umesh Pal on February 28, 2006 to stop the testimony. During this, Atiq kept Umesh Pal at his office in Chakia. He beat her up and threatened to kill her.
Umesh Pal had filed the case in July 2007
A year after the incident, on July 5, 2007, on the complaint given by Umesh Pal, the police registered a case against Atiq Ahmed, his brother Ashraf and four unknown accused. The MP-MLA court of Prayagraj had reserved its decision after completing the hearing on March 17. Judge DC Shukla had issued an order on March 23 to present Atiq Ahmed in the court.
Atiq from Sabarmati, then Ashraf was brought from Bareilly Jail to Prayagraj
Let us tell you that Mafia Atiq Ahmed has been brought from Sabarmati Jail in Gujarat to be presented in the MP-MLA court of Prayagraj. Traveling 1271 km by road, 45 police personnel of UP STF and Prayagraj Police reached Naini Jail in 24 hours. On the other hand, Atiq Ahmed’s brother Ashraf has also been taken to Prayagraj by STF amidst heavy security from Bareilly Jail. Both have been kept in Naini jail.
