Walid Audi, director of the Palmyra hospital, said 46 civilians and seven soldiers were among those killed. Audi said 53 bodies had been brought to the hospital after the attack that targeted dozens of people. Many people, including women and children, have been targeted in the central, northeastern and eastern regions of Syria in recent years.
Last week also 16 people died in the attack
According to information, 16 people, mostly civilians, were killed in a similar attack last Saturday. Dozens were also abducted in the attack, many of whom were later released, but many others are still missing.
