On January 12, the BAPS Swaminarayan Temple in Mill Park, Australia was vandalized with anti-India and anti-Hindu slogans.

Apart from Canada and Australia, temples were also targeted in Bangladesh three weeks ago. Dozens of idols were damaged in several temples. Police had said that on February 5, 14 idols were vandalized in 12 Hindu temples under Baliyadangi Upazila in Thakurgaon, the northern district of Bangladesh.
