Telangana Politics: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Vice President DK Aruna has targeted Telangana Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao. Accusing KCR of misuse of power, Aruna said police cases are being filed against those who stand against the CM’s party in the state.

DK Aruna claimed that the entire power in Telangana is in the hands of one family and they (BRS) think that everyone is like them. Aruna said that Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter Kavita is protesting at Jantar Mantar on March 10 demanding Women’s Reservation Bill and here in Telangana we are protesting against harassment of women and ragging of girls.

KCR taunted for atrocities against women

Aruna accused CM KCR of maintaining silence on the alleged cases of atrocities against women. Taking a dig at the KCR government, Aruna said, “The government is not taking any interest in the welfare of women who are facing many atrocities. The CM does not utter a single word nor assure them.”

The Telangana BJP leader said that the decision to sit outside Jantar Mantar over the Women’s Reservation Bill is just an election gimmick and nothing more. “All this is only to woo women voters who will never believe in BRS party as majority of women are victims, law and order has deteriorated and atrocities against women have increased under BRS rule,” she added.

BJP leader Ramchandra Rao also targeted

Earlier, Telangana BJP leader N Ramachander Rao had said that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao should protect women in his state before demanding Women’s Reservation Bill for the country on behalf of his daughter Kavitha.

He said, ‘It is very surprising that Kavita talks about the Women’s Reservation Bill in Parliament, while her own father did not give a single ministry to a woman in his first term. How is a woman being respected in this state? The woman governor is being humiliated and harassed by their (BRS) government and she (Kavita) talks about women’s reservation.”
