TB Harega Bharat Jeetega: Dr. Lusika Ditieu, Executive Director of Stop TB Partnership, praised the efforts of PM Narendra Modi at the World TB Summit held in Varanasi on Friday.
Lusika said that in 2018 I met Prime Minister Modi in Delhi. Then the PM had said that we will eliminate TB in India by 2025. At that time there were some people who closed their eyes. He did not believe Modi’s words. I tell them to keep their eyes closed because India is eliminating TB by 2025. TB will lose, India will win.
The world needs leaders like Modi

Dr. Lusika also mentioned Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. He said that due to the foresight of Prime Minister Modi and wonderful leadership of Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, the country is moving towards its goal. He further said that it is amazing that 1 million TB patients of India have joined our campaign. I announce that I will personally support 5 lakh TB victims of Varanasi.
PM Modi started One World Summit in Banaras
PM Modi was on a tour of his parliamentary constituency Banaras on Friday. Here he started the One World Summit. Also laid the foundation stone of the National Center for Disease Control and the Unit of High Containment Laboratory.
Karnataka and Jammu TB free
The PM said that today the number of TB patients is decreasing in India. Karnataka and Jammu and Kashmir have been honored with the TB-free award. I congratulate those who have achieved this success.
