SSC Constable GD Exam Computer Based Examination was held from January 10 to February 13, 2023. Candidates had the answer key from February 18 to February 25, 2023. SSC has not yet disclosed the date of results. This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 50187 vacancies.

As per the Constable (GD) vacancy list, a total of 46435 vacancies are to be filled under this recruitment drive. The recruitment of the candidates will be done in two parts, the first part will cover 46,260 vacancies and the second part will be for 175 posts. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts SSC GD exam to recruit candidates to the post of General Duty (GD) Constable in various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles. Know the selection process
Shortlisted candidates in SSC GD written test will be eligible for the next round of screening i.e. PET/PST. The schedule for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) will be shared by the Commission in due course. Candidates who clear all the stages of SSC GD exam will be selected for the post of GD Constable in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles.
