Had taken over the business at the age of 18
Srichand Parmanand Hinduja was also known as SP. Parmanand Hinduja is his father’s name. Father started the Hinduja Group in 1914 Mumbai. The four brothers add their father’s name to their names as well. After completing his education in 1952, he took over his father’s business at the age of just 18. He was married to Madhu. They have two daughters Shanu and Veenu. Firms like Ashok Leyland in the auto sector and IndusInd Bank in the banking sector have major stakes.
Property dispute surfaced three years ago
Three years ago, a dispute had come to the fore between the four brothers over a property worth Rs 83,000 crore. It started with a letter. The content of the letter was that whatever wealth one brother has, it belongs to all, but Srichand Hinduja and his daughter Veenu want this letter to be declared useless.
