Karnataka News: CM Siddaramaiah removes contract workers hired by Bommai government, slain BJP leader’s wife also lost her job

Karnataka News: The Congress government in Karnataka has swung into action. CM Siddaramaiah has canceled the contractual recruitments done during the previous Bommai government. In this way, the wife of BJP leader Praveen Nettaru, who was killed by PFI activists, also lost her job. Now politics has started on this issue. BJP says that PFI is a Congress sponsored organization. Our government had given the job of Mangalore DC to the wife of Praveen Netru who was killed by PFI.

Notification was issued on 29 September 2022

In fact, in a notification issued on 29 September 2022, it was said that Praveen’s wife Nutan Kumari M has been appointed to the post of ‘Group C’ in the Chief Minister’s Office on contract basis. Her recruitment notification claimed that she would be in service till Basavaraj Bommai ceased to be the Chief Minister or until a new order regarding her job was issued. On Nutan’s request, she had joined the Disaster Management Department at the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Mangaluru on October 13.

With the Congress government coming to power in Karnataka, all the recruitments of the previous government on contract basis have been suspended. Accordingly, Nutan has also lost his job. Deputy Commissioner Ravi Kumar MR said that all the previous temporary appointments will automatically stand canceled after the change of government. If Nutan applies in the DC office, it will be sent to the government for consideration.

The murder took place on 26 July 2020

Praveen Nettaru was murdered on 26 July 2022 in Belare village of Dakshina Kannada district. In this case, NIA has filed a charge sheet against 21 accused including Thufail MH, Mohammad Jabir. According to the NIA, the PFI had formed hit squads – service teams or killer squads – to kill its alleged enemies. The incident was carried out under the agenda of establishing Islamic rule in the country by 2047.
