Local officials and witnesses said four people were shot at a home in Annapolis on Sunday (local time). Police said a suspect has been taken into custody.
BNO News reported that the incident happened around 8 p.m. after officers received a call of shots fired at a home in the 1000 block of Paddington Place in the Annapolis neighborhood. Police Chief Ed Jackson said several people had died.
In the preliminary report, 7 people were reported to have been shot.
Initial reports said that seven people were shot, but police have so far confirmed that four people were shot. Police Chief Ed Jackson said this was unusual for Annapolis. He said police are investigating the cause of the shooting and emergency personnel are at the scene.
