Saudi Arabia: A bus full of pilgrims met with an accident in Asir, Saudi Arabia. At least 20 pilgrims were killed and 29 others were injured in the accident.

According to Gulf News report, the bus carrying pilgrims going to perform Umrah overturned after hitting a bridge. It is being said that the bus met with an accident after brake failure. When the bus overturned, it also caught fire.

Pilgrims going to Mecca to perform Umrah

According to information, the bus accident happened on the road connecting Asir province and Abha city. All the people in the bus were going to Mecca to perform Umrah.

Saudi Civil Defense and Red Crescent Authority teams have reached the crash site and cordoned off the area. Along with this, the injured have been admitted to the nearest hospital. At present, the dead have not been identified. Investigation is going on in this regard.
