There is no confession of the government. The miscreants are doing whatever they want. More than 125 people have died. More than 60 thousand people have become homeless. They are living in relief camps. Many people left Manipur. Some people have come till Delhi. More than 5 thousand incidents of arson have been registered. More than 140 arrests have been made. Internet is closed till 30th June. The series of violence started on May 3. Curfew has been imposed in 11 districts. The pictures are telling how the conditions are there.
Rahul Gandhi is on a two-day visit to Manipur. Reached Churachandpur from Imphal. He took stock of the relief camps. Got out on the road. He was stopped at Vishnupur. There was opposition as well as support. Different claims are being made from different camps. The SP there said that we stopped because someone could throw a grenade.
