SA vs WI: The South African team has been announced for the ODI series between South Africa and West Indies. Viaan Mulder has been ruled out of the three-match ODI series against the West Indies due to a side strain. Wayne Parnell has been included in his place. At the same time, Tabrez Shamsi has been included in the team in place of Keshav Maharaj.
The Proteas all-rounder suffered a grade one side strain during the second Test against the West Indies. He felt uneasiness during the test and subsequent scans confirmed tension.
Parnell, who has 98 ODI wickets at an average of 30.4, will replace Mulder in the South Africa team. The first ODI match between South Africa and West Indies will be played on 16 March.
