Russia bans Barack Obama: Russia has banned the entry of 500 citizens including former US President Barack Obama. Russia’s foreign ministry said it was imposing sanctions on 500 Americans. This is in response to the ban imposed by the Biden administration. Apart from Obama, the list also includes former US ambassador Jon Huntsman, several US senators. Famous American TV show anchors Jimmy Kimmel, Colbert and Seth Meyers have also been banned by Russia.
Relations between Washington and Moscow are currently at an all-time low. The Russian Ministry said that it is high time for Washington to learn that any hostile attack against Russia will be retaliated with a firm response.

Why the ban?
