Andhra Pradesh: Five people, including three women, died in a road accident in Bapatla district of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday morning.
The accident took place on Medarmetla bypass on the highway in Bapatla district. It is reported that a car overturned after hitting the road divider. After this the car was hit by a truck. According to the police, the wife and daughter of Police SI Sheikh Samandar Wali are also among the dead.

According to Andhra Pradesh Police, the car was going from Ongole towards Guntur. Then the driver lost control of the car and hit the divider. The car overturned and fell on the other side of the road. Meanwhile, the truck coming from the other direction hit the car.

SI was going on duty
All the five occupants of the car died on the spot in the accident. Police said that SI Vali was taking his wife, daughter and two women from the neighboring family along with him while going on duty at Tirunala in Chinnaganjam.

The identity of those who died in the accident
After visiting a Shiva temple on the way, the SI had asked the car driver to drop them back to Adanki. Police said that the deceased have been identified as Waheeda (39), Ayesha (9), G. Vijayashree (50), G. Divya Teja (27) and the driver have been identified as Brahmachari.
