Rama Navami Violence: OIC (OIC-Organisation of Islamic Cooperation) has also jumped into the Ram Navami festival held in West Bengal, Bihar, Gujarat and Maharashtra last week. The OIC has termed the violence as an organized attack against Muslims. Further said that Muslims were targeted through violence on Ram Navami in India, that is very worrying.
In this letter on behalf of the OIC Secretary General, the violence in Biharsharif, Bihar has been mentioned. Said that extremist Hindus targeted madrassas. The library was set on fire. It also said that violence has taken place in several Indian states during Ram Navami processions. Muslims were targeted.

The Government of India has taken strong note of the statement of the OIC. The Ministry of External Affairs said that we strongly condemn the statement issued today by the OIC Secretariat regarding India. This is yet another example of their communal mindset and anti-India agenda.

Know what is OIC?
IIC is an organization of 57 Muslim countries. It was established in 1969. The combined population of the countries of the organization is more than 1.8 billion. It is the second largest organization in the world after the United Nations. Pakistan has an important role in this organization. India is not included in this organization due to Pakistan’s objection.
Owaisi said- Nitish has no regrets on Bihar riots
AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi has targeted the Bihar government over the violence. Owaisi said that whenever there is violence in a state, the responsibility lies with the state government. Madrasa Azizia was set on fire in Biharsharif. When the minaret of a mosque was broken and Muslim shops were targeted, it clearly shows that there is a big conspiracy behind it.
Owaisi said that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav knew that Nalanda is a sensitive district, yet this happened. So, the responsibility of whatever happened in Bihar falls on the Bihar government. They knew that there could be violence because in 2016 also such violence took place in Nalanda. He is not having any problem with all this, he even went to Iftar yesterday. Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav want to create fear among Muslims.
