Mumbai News: Bollywood singer Mika Singh got a big relief from the Bombay High Court on Thursday. In 2006, the High Court quashed the case of forcibly kissing actress Rakhi Sawant. The matter was going on in the division bench of Justice AS Gadkari and Justice SG Dige.

Rakhi Sawant’s lawyer presented an affidavit in the case. In which it was told that Mika Singh and his client have settled the matter amicably. Thereafter, the Bench quashed the FIR and charge sheet filed.

Case was registered on June 11, 2006

Singer Mika Singh had given a party on his birthday in 2006. Mika Singh suddenly kissed Rakhi Sawant in the party. On June 11, Rakhi Sawant filed a molestation case against Mika Singh. Singh was booked under sections 354 (molestation) and 323 (assault) of the IPC. Mika Singh had approached the High Court in April this year, requesting it to quash the FIR and the charge sheet.

The High Court took note of Rakhi Sawant’s affidavit. In which it has been said that he and Singh have resolved all their differences in an amicable way and they have realized that the whole dispute was born due to their misunderstanding. Thereafter, the High Court quashed the FIR and the charge sheet.
