Rahul Gandhi Defamation Case LIVE Updates: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi reached Surat on Monday to appeal against the sentence awarded in a defamation case. During this, two petitions were filed on behalf of Rahul Gandhi in the Sessions Court on behalf of Rahul Gandhi. These petitions were heard at 3 pm.

The sessions court has stayed the trial court’s decision till April 13. That means Rahul Gandhi has got bail. Along with this, the date of hearing has been fixed on 13 April. Court proceedings will start from this day itself. During this, Rahul Gandhi will not need to stay in the court.

Two petitions have been filed in Surat Sessions Court on behalf of Rahul Gandhi to cancel the sentence.
