Punjab: The Border Security Force (BSF) arrested a Pakistani national on Thursday afternoon from near the International Border in Gurdaspur sector of Punjab. BSF said that the intruder is a resident of Sialkot in Pakistan. He has been identified as Amir Raza.
He was caught by BSF jawans while infiltrating the Border Out Post Nikka. Further interrogation of the intruder is underway. This is the second arrest in the last two days.

The intruder was caught near Rajatal on Wednesday night
On Wednesday night, a Pakistani infiltrator was apprehended by BSF’s 144 battalion personnel posted at Rajatal border outpost in Punjab’s Amritsar sector.
The BSF said the troopers fired at the intruder and later arrested him. During initial interrogation, the intruder identified himself as a Bangladeshi national. He is also being questioned and further action will be taken.
