PM Modi Egypt Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been conferred with the ‘Order of the Nile’, Egypt’s highest state honor in Cairo on Sunday. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi conferred the prestigious award on the PM ahead of the bilateral meeting.
Earlier in Cairo, PM Narendra Modi and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi signed an MoU. PM Modi also visited the Heliopolis War Cemetery in Cairo, Egypt.

PM Modi paid tribute to Indian soldiers
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday visited the Heliopolis War Cemetery in Cairo, Egypt and paid tribute to Indian soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice during World War I. PM Modi also visited Al-Hakim Mosque in Cairo on Sunday.
The Al-Hakim Mosque, with its centuries-old heritage, serves as a symbol of religious and historical importance showcasing the fusion of Indian and Egyptian cultures. Let us inform that PM Modi is on a state visit to Egypt from 24-25 June.

PM Modi had a meeting with the Egyptian PM on Saturday
PM Modi had a round table meeting with his Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouli in Cairo on Saturday. Earlier, Prime Minister Modi was warmly welcomed in Cairo. During this, Indians raised slogans of ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Modi-Modi’.
Several members of the Indian community were present at the Ritz Carlton Hotel to welcome PM Modi. Many children were also present among the NRIs. Many people also sang Indian songs and presented cultural programs to welcome PM Modi.
