PM Modi to inaugurate National Training Conclave, next step towards ‘Mission Karmayogi’

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the ‘National Training Conclave’ for the first time on Sunday at 10:30 am at the International Exhibition and Convention Center in Pragati Maidan, Delhi. PM Modi will also address the gathering on this occasion. PM wants to improve governance process and policy. For this, ‘Mission Karmayogi’ has also been started. For improvement in policy and governance, it is necessary that civil servants should be given better training and their skills should be improved.

Hosted by Capacity Building Commission

According to a PMO release, the National Training Conference is being hosted by the Capacity Building Commission with an aim to promote collaboration among civil services training institutes and strengthen the training infrastructure for civil servants across the country.

Experts from the private sector will also participate in the deliberations.

More than 1500 delegates from training institutes including Central Training Institutes, State Administrative Training Institutes, Regional Training Institutes and Research Institutes will participate in the conclave. Civil servants from central government departments, state governments and local governments as well as experts from the private sector will participate in the deliberations. The challenges and opportunities available will be discussed on this occasion. The conclave will have eight-panel discussions, each of which will touch on key issues related to Civil Services Training Institutes.
