New Delhi: On the occasion of Easter, the festival of Christianity, PM Modi reached the Sacred Heart Church in the capital Delhi. PM Modi reached the Sacred Heart Cathedral Catholic Church but he was welcomed. As soon as PM Modi reached the church, the priests welcomed him by covering him with sal and offering him a bouquet of flowers. The children prayed together in the church.

PM Modi lit the candle
PM Modi took part in the candle ceremony. Here PM Modi prayed for peace and prosperity in the country and gave the message of Easter. The great thing is that for the first time a PM has visited this church. Earlier, Father Francis Swaminathan of St. Thomas Catholic Church had said that we are excited about PM Modi’s arrival here.

Prior to PM Modi’s visit, the priest of the church, Francis Swaminathan told news agency ANI that this is the first time a Prime Minister is visiting the church. Expressing his happiness, he said, “We are thrilled that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting our church today.
