PM Modi France Visit: After US President Joe Biden, PM Modi left for a two-day visit to France today at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron. Prime Minister Modi will be in France for two days (July 13 and July 14). During this, PM Modi will attend the Bastille Day Parade in France as the chief guest. Along with this, he will hold talks with macros to take forward cooperation in many other key areas including defense, space, trade, invest.
Prime Minister Modi will attend the Bastille Day Parade on 14 July. A 269-member Indian Armed Forces contingent will also participate in the parade. During this, along with French jets, three Rafale fighter jets of the Indian Air Force (IAF) will also participate in the flypast.

President Macron will host dinner
President Macron will host a State Banquet as well as a private dinner in honor of Prime Minister Modi. During his visit to France, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to meet the French Prime Minister as well as the Presidents of the French Senate and the National Assembly. He will separately interact with Indian expatriates in France, CEOs of Indian and French companies and prominent French personalities.
Let us tell you that this year is the 25th anniversary of India-France strategic partnership. Prime Minister Modi’s visit will provide an opportunity to chart out a partnership for the future in various areas such as strategic, cultural, scientific, educational and economic cooperation.

Full program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in France
- The Prime Minister will reach Paris at around 4 pm (Indian Standard Time) and will be accorded a ceremonial welcome at Orly airport.
- At around 7.30 pm (IST), PM Modi will reach the Senate and meet the President of the Senate, Gerard Larcher.
- Around 8.45 pm (IST), PM Modi will hold a meeting with French Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne
- PM Modi will address an Indian community event at the prestigious La Seine musical at around 11 pm (IST).
- Thereafter, at around 00:30 PM (IST) PM Modi will reach the Elysee Palace for a private dinner, which will be hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron.
