PM Modi in UAE: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s two-day visit to France has come to an end. On Saturday, he reached the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for a day. Here in Abu Dhabi, PM Modi met President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This is PM Modi’s fifth visit to UAE after becoming PM. In 2019, he was awarded the highest honor Order of Zayed.
There will be a discussion on the strategic partnership between the two countries. Explain that there is a deep business partnership between India and UAE. There is a trade of more than 6 lakh crore rupees between the two countries.

At the beginning of his two-nation visit, Prime Minister Modi had said that he was looking forward to meeting his friend His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Our two countries are engaged in a wide range of areas such as trade, investment, energy, food security, science and technology, education, fintech, defence, security and strong people-to-people ties.
30% Indians in the total population of UAE
A large number of Indians live in the UAE, who constitute 30 per cent of the total population. According to UAE records, the number of Indian nationals in 2021 was estimated to be 3.5 million. The total population of UAE is 93.7 million.
