Parliament Budget Session: The second phase of the budget session of Parliament will begin on Monday. It will run till 6 April. There will be a total of 27 sittings in this session. Earlier, the Chairman of Rajya Sabha called an all-party meeting in New Delhi on Sunday.
Session likely to be stormy
Let us tell you that the first phase of the budget session started on 31 January. In which a total of 10 meetings have been held. During the first phase, the thanksgiving on the President’s address and the Union Budget were discussed. During this session, the government’s focus will be on getting maximum number of bills passed. On the other hand, the opposition can create ruckus on many other demands including the action and arrest of central agencies.
Opposition parties will meet
At the same time, before the second phase, a meeting of opposition parties will be held at Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s office at 10 am. Where the opposition parties will make a strategy to surround the government. According to the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha secretariats, there are a total of 35 bills pending in Parliament. In this session, 9 bills are to be introduced in the Lok Sabha and 26 in the Rajya Sabha.
