Pakistan Politics: Former Prime Minister of Pakistan and Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan got a big relief from Lahore court on Tuesday. The court granted him interim bail in three cases. Geo News reported that in three cases of terrorism registered against Imran Khan, his bail has been extended till April 13.
The cases in which Imran Khan has got interim bail include those related to arson, violence against the police, sabotage and the Zila Shah murder. Geo News reported that several cases were registered against the PTI chief at the Race Course police station under anti-terrorist and aiding and abetting laws.
The three cases were registered against Khan by the Lahore police in connection with the clashes between PTI members and the police during an operation to nab Khan in the Toshakhana gift case.

According to Geo News, Imran Khan currently has over 140 cases registered against him related to terrorism, murder, attempt to murder and blasphemy. All these cases have been registered by the PMLN-led coalition government in the last 11 months.
Earlier, in March, the Lahore High Court (LHC) had granted protective bail to Imran Khan in the same case and directed him to approach the concerned court in the matter.
Imran is afraid of his arrest
PTI chairman Imran Khan, who reached the court, in his plea seeking interim bail, has written that he wants to join the investigation, but is afraid of arrest by the police, reports The News International.
Imran Khan was granted bail by the ATC with the condition that he should post a surety bond of (PKR) 100,000 in each instance and cooperate with the investigation and attend all scheduled hearings.
