On this occasion, he remembered his elder brother Nawaz Sharif. He not only appealed to Nawaz to return to Pakistan but also offered to become the PM of the country for the fourth time. Shahbaz said that he will leave the post after Nawaz returns home.

On the occasion of the elections held within the party, Shehbaz Sharif said that after Nawaz Sharif becomes the Prime Minister for the fourth time, the country will move towards progress and prosperity. Please tell that Nawaz Sharif is in London since 2019. It is believed that he may return to Pakistan before the upcoming elections.

The sword of action of the Election Commission was hanging

The election of PML-N office-bearers was scheduled to be held on March 22 last year, but the Election Commission extended the date on the party’s request. Permission was given to hold elections till May 14, 2022. But elections could not be held even after a year. In such a situation, the Election Commission had given an ultimatum of action. Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz was elected senior vice president in the party elections. Maryam Aurangzeb was elected Information Secretary. Ishaq Dar was elected as the President of Foreign and International Affairs.

Prime Minister Shahbaz said that he deliberately delayed the PML-N general council meeting and the inter-party elections as he waited for the return of his elder brother Nawaz Sharif so that he could again lead the party.

Nawaz the maker of modern Pakistan

PM Shehbaz said that Nawaz Sharif was the architect of modern Pakistan and during his tenure as Prime Minister, he removed the lack of energy. laid a network of roads, built infrastructure and developed agriculture, industry and other important sectors of the economy.

The PM said that Finance Minister Ishaq Dar is working hard to get the country’s economy out of the present difficulties. Without naming anyone in the party, he said that those who are unnecessarily criticizing Ishaq Dar have no place in the party.

The country will overcome the current challenges

The Prime Minister said that the government has fulfilled all the conditions of the International Monetary Fund to meet the country’s financial needs. He reminded that the PML-N spent its political capital for the state at a time when inflation was very high and prices of commodities were skyrocketing.

Despite the difficult economic conditions, the common man was given relief in the budget and salary was increased by 35 percent and pension by 17 percent. He said that the country will emerge stronger from the present challenges.
