Poonch Terror Attack: After the Poonch terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir on April 20, Pakistan has started fearing another surgical strike from India. Recently former Pakistani diplomat Abdul Basit said that now people in Pakistan are talking about another surgical strike or air strike by India. I don’t think anything like this will happen, because this year India is presiding over the SCO meeting and the G20. But India may do this again during the elections next year (2024 Lok Sabha Elections). This could happen just before the elections in India.

Basit gave a shameless statement

Abdul Basit made a statement full of shamelessness during this. He advocated and tried to justify the cowardly attack on the army in Poonch. He said that whoever did this, be it Mujahideen or whoever, they did not target civilians but the army. They are engaged in a legitimate struggle. If you are doing a movement and you are targeting military and not civilians, international law also allows it. The former Pakistani diplomat also said that India knows where we stand.

This video came after the Poonch attack

This video has come after the Poonch terror attack. On 20 April, unidentified terrorists hurled a grenade at an army vehicle passing through Bhimber Gali in Rajouri sector and Poonch, killing five soldiers. All the jawans belonged to the Rashtriya Rifles. They were carrying fruits and other items for Iftar party.

Two thousand soldiers engaged in search operation

In Poonch and Rajouri, about 2,000 personnel of the Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and paramilitary forces are engaged in the search operation. Recently, an organization named Anti Fascist Front claimed responsibility for the attack and also released two photographs. However according to sources, the terrorists are suspected to be from Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
