PAK Intruder: Taking a major action, the Border Security Force (BSF) in Punjab on the India-Pakistan border has arrested the third infiltrator within 48 hours. The apprehended infiltrator is said to be a resident of Khyber district of Pakistan. The infiltrator was arrested in the Ferozepur sector of Punjab on the intervening night of March 9-10.
The BSF said the intruder crossed the international border and entered Indian territory near border post Tirath in Ferozepur sector. BSF jawans ready at the border arrested the intruder on sight. He was searched. During preliminary interrogation, he described himself as a resident of Khyber district of Pakistan. Further action is going on as per SOP.

Pakistani citizen was arrested on Thursday afternoon as well
The BSF also arrested a Pakistani national near the international border in Gurdaspur sector of Punjab on Thursday afternoon. The Pakistani infiltrator, identified as Aamir Raza, a resident of Sialkot district in Pakistan, was apprehended by BSF personnel ahead of the border fence in the area of Border Outpost Nikka in Gurdaspur sector.
According to the Border Security Force, the intruder had crossed the international border and entered Indian territory. According to BSF, “During preliminary interrogation, the infiltrator revealed his name as Amir Raza. He said that he is a resident of Sialkot district of Pakistan. According to BSF, further interrogation of the intruder is going on.
An intruder was also arrested on the night of March 8-9
Troops of BSF’s 144 Battalion, posted at the Rajatal border post in Punjab’s Amritsar sector near the international border, had also intercepted a Pakistani intruder on the intervening night of March 8-9. The intruder was trying to enter Indian territory.
The Border Security Force said the intruder had identified himself as a Bangladeshi national. He is also being questioned and further action will be taken.
