Oscars 2023: India has created history at the 95th Oscar Awards. The film ‘The Elephant Whispers’ has won the Short Documentary Award. The producer of the film is Guneet Monga. This short documentary film beat ‘Haul Out’, ‘How Do You Measure a Year?’, ‘The Martha Mitchell Effect’ and ‘Stranger at the Gate’ to win the award.
The story of the film revolves around a family who adopts two orphaned baby elephants in Mudumalai Tiger Reserve, Tamil Nadu.
Indian actress Deepika Padukone is also present among foreign film stars in this award show (Oscars 2023) being held in Los Angeles, who has become a part of the award show as a presenter this year. Oscars i.e. The Academy Awards is the biggest film award in the world.
