Indian Railways: On Sunday, the opposition lashed out at the ruling BJP at the Center over the alleged deteriorating condition of the Indian Railways. The opposition said that the government has destroyed a smoothly running fleet of trains. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal claimed that AC and sleeper coaches have become worse than normal coaches, with allotted berths not providing enough space for passengers to sit or sleep.
Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal said in a tweet that they (central government) destroyed the well-run railway fleet. Today, even if you take reservation of AC coach, you will not get a seat to sit or sleep. AC and sleeper coaches are worse than usual.
Kejriwal said that they (central government) do not know how to run the government. They don’t understand at all. This is illiterate government. It is ruining every sector. In another tweet, the Delhi CM said without taking the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ‘How will the one who cannot run the train run the country?

Opposition is an attacker on the Center after the Odisha Balasore accident
The Railway Ministry has come under sharp criticism from opposition leaders after the recent three train accidents in Odisha’s Balasore that killed nearly 290 people and injured hundreds.

Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) said that train coaches have been converted into ‘torture centres’ for passengers. RJD’s Twitter handle said that AC, sleeper or general.. all are in the same condition. Despite having reservation, people are forced to sit and travel.
