OnePlus First Foldable Smartphone: Finally, the phone maker OnePlus has announced its first foldable smartphone. The first foldable smartphone has been announced by the company at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC 2023).
The company says that it will launch its first foldable smartphone in the third quarter of 2023. The upcoming foldable handset is said to offer a faster and smoother experience. It will take on Samsung, Oppo and Motorola in the foldable space.
Let us tell you that the company had already given a glimpse of the upcoming foldable smartphone in its Cloud 11 event. Apart from this, the OnePlus 11 concept phone was launched at MWC in Barcelona. The handset comes with a miniaturized liquid calling system.
OnePlus First Foldable Smartphone Launch Date
A glimpse of the upcoming foldable smartphone was shown by OnePlus during the OnePlus Cloud 11 event on February 7. At the same time, now it has been announced by the company that it will launch its foldable phone in the third quarter of the year 2023.
Kinder Liu, President and COO of OnePlus, said in a press statement that the foldable smartphone will come with a faster and smoother experience. He confirmed that the phone will be a flagship phone that will not compromise on its folding form including industrial design and mechanical technology.
OnePlus said that the company will share more details on this in the coming months. Meanwhile, some leaks and reports regarding the expected specifications have been doing the rounds on the internet for a while now. According to a report, the first foldable phone from OnePlus will feature a 2K display similar to the one on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4.
A previous report also suggested that the company will launch two foldable smartphones based on the Oppo Find N series – the OnePlus V Flip and the OnePlus V Fold.
