Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee visited Balasore on Saturday on the information of the accident. A press conference was held at the accident site itself. During this, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav was also present. In PC, Mamta expressed grief over the accident. He said that this is the biggest accident of this century.

Railway Minister immediately interrupted Mamta Banerjee
The central government should constitute a committee to investigate this. Along with this, he said that about 500 people have died in this accident. As soon as Mamata said this, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav interrupted her. Objected that this figure is not correct. On this Mamta said that you are telling the official figure. Mamta said that I myself have been the Railway Minister. So there was a clash between the two.
