NZ vs ENG 2nd Test: Today is the last day of the second Test match being played between New Zealand and England. The match is being played in Wellington and is currently at an exciting turn. England needed 258 runs in the second innings to win the match, chasing which the team got off to a good start though later started losing wickets. After which Joe Root played a brilliant inning and took the team towards victory. Root was about to score his second century in this match when suddenly Neil Wagner trapped him with a fine ball and he lost his wicket.

In fact, at the beginning of the second innings, England lost three consecutive wickets, after which Joe Root landed at the crease. However, as soon as he came, the team suffered two more setbacks and the score became 80-5. After this, Root did not give up and scored 95 runs playing continuous shots. He was about to win the team that suddenly Neil Wagner came to bowl in the 59th over. Wagner bowled the very first ball as soon as he arrived. Joe Root was intent on hitting the shot but he could not gauge its speed and the ball hit the top of his bat and went straight into the hands of the fielder standing in the 30 yard circle. Thus ended Joe Root’s brilliant innings.
