North East Election Results: Bharatiya Janata Party and its allies IPFT and NDPP may return to power in Tripura and Nagaland. Whereas, in Meghalaya the party is leading on 3 seats. If BJP has to share power like last time, it will have to join hands with NPP.

BJP alliance power in Tripura fixed

The BJP has so far won 13 seats in Tripura and is leading in 20 seats, according to trends released by the Election Commission till 2:30 pm. On the other hand, its ally IPFT has won 1 seat so far.

On the other hand, CPI(M) has so far won 1 seat and is leading in 10 seats. Chief Minister Manik Saha defeated Ashish Kumar Saha of INC from Town Bordovali seat by a margin of 1 thousand 257 votes.

BJP coalition government again in Nagaland

In Nagaland too, the BJP alliance is on the way to victory. According to the latest trends of the Election Commission, BJP has won 6 seats, while it is leading in 6 seats. At the same time, its ally NDPP has won 12 seats. And it is leading in 12 seats. While JDU is leading in 1 seat, NCP has registered 2 seats and is leading in 5.

Hung assembly likely in Meghalaya

In Meghalaya, the ruling NPP has won 6 seats and is leading in 19 seats. While BJP is leading on 3 seats. Whereas TMC has so far won 1 seat and is leading in 4 seats. While Congress has so far won 3 seats and is leading in 2 seats.
