Jammu and Kashmir: Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai gave information about the sale and purchase of land in Jammu and Kashmir in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday. He told that between 2020 and 2022, after the removal of Article 370, 185 outsiders have bought land in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. However, no outsider has taken land in Ladakh in the last three years.
Nityanand Rai also informed that 1559 Indian companies and multinational companies have invested in Jammu and Kashmir in the last three years.

Reduction in cases registered against minors
Quoting the National Crime Records Bureau, Nityanand Rai said that the agency has revealed in the Crime in India report that cases registered against minors are on the decline.

Article 370 was removed on 5 August 2019
The Central Government had removed Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir on 5 August 2019. After this two union territories of Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh were created. After this, investment opportunities have arisen from here. Last month, LG Manoj Sinha of Jammu and Kashmir had laid the foundation stone of the mall to be built at a cost of 250 crores. The mall is being built by the Emaar Group of the United Arab Emirates.
