New Delhi: Facebook’s parent company Meta is going to start the second round of layoffs soon. During this, 10 thousand employees will be fired. Apart from this, it has also been announced to close five thousand additional open vacancies. It is being claimed that this retrenchment will save the company three to five billion dollars.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in his message that the company is going to reduce its workforce. This is the time you should expect. In the next few months, we will work on things like canceling low priority projects, reducing recruitment.

Last year 11 thousand employees were retrenched
